SFTPSFTP stands for secure file transfer protocol. It allows you to transfer files to and from your server in a secure way. If you are familiar with FTP, it is the same thing but with encryption for security. If you need an SFTP client, we suggest using FileZilla. Its open source, free, and is available for almost all platforms. When you use it, make sure to specify port 22 for the connection. If it asks you for a protocol, use SFTP. |
